Chapel Activities

Here at Brussels American Chapel there are a variety of activities in which you and your family can participate. From Vacation Bible School to Chapel retreats, we offer something for everyone.

Moms in Touch (MIT) invites you to join our new prayer group as we pray for our children and for our schools. MIT is a group of moms who meet for one hour each week on Wednesdays from 0930-1030 to stand in the gap for our children through prayer. Please call 02/782-1812 for more information.

The Chapel Library now has over 1000 books, tapes and DVDs for loan in the Chapel Cafe area. The library is open to all community members and is a great place to seek privacy and quiet during a hectic workday. Simply fill out a library card and make your selections. Christian, fiction and non-fiction books are available as well as family friendly videos, DVDs and periodicals. Call 02 717-9677 for more information.

The Protestant Women of the Chapel (PWOC) invite you for weekly fellowship, prayer, praise and and worship, and Bible Study. The PWOC weekly meeting and Bible Study is every Thursday (starting 8 September) from 0930-1200 in the NSA Chapel Fellowship Hall. Refreshments and free childwatch are provided. Bible Studies offered this fall are Precepts Study/In & Out Study: Philippians. PWOC evening Bible Study ("Power of a Praying Woman") will be every Wednesday from 1900-2000 in the NSA Chapel Library. For more information, call 02 717 9677.

Start your day off with spiritual fellowship and inspiration in the Word! A NATO International Prayer Breakfast is held every Wednesday morning at 0800 in the back dining hall (Salon des Ambassadeurs). Breakfast is provided by the Chapel. All Embassy, NATO members and family are welcome to attend.

Catholic Mass is held at St. Anthony's Church in St-Stevens- Woluwé on Fridays at 1100, Saturdays at 1800 and Sundays at 1130. This English speaking Church is located at Oudstrijderslaan 23-25, 1950 Kraainem (phone 02/720-1970).

Protestant Worship starts at 1030 every Sunday with Praise and Worship, Children's Lesson (1045), Prayer and Preaching the Word! Join us as we journey through the Life of Christ each Sunday. After the Children's Lesson, the children transition to Children's Church until 1200, which brings worship to their level. The Chapel Cafe is open at 1000 for Community Fellowship with refreshments before the service. Families are encouraged to occasionally bring a favorite dessert or baked item to share. The Cafe is also open immediately after service.

Full Gospel Worship Service, "Focus on Jesus Full Gospel Service," is held every Sunday at the NSA Brussels American Chapel at 1230. Come and praise the Lord with us! Study the Word at the Gospel Sunday school at 1100 in the NSA Conference Room.

Youth Ministry programs for middle school and high school youth are provided at the NSA Brussels American Chapel. Join our youth and leaders for a time of activities, food, and fellowship! The middle school club meets Fridays from 1800-2000 and the high school club meets Sundays at 1800. Contact Ms. Mobley at 02/717-9764 for more information.

The Men of the Chapel will meet the first Saturday of every month for a men's study, "Wild at Heart," at NSA fellowship hall at 0900. This is a great time for men to share and learn more about their spiritual role as leaders, fathers, and husbands.
