Deputy Garrison Commander

 

Mr. Vincent Crepeau assumed his current position as Deputy to the Garrison Commander, U.S. Army Garrison Brussels on August 28, 2010 following a 27 month tour as Director of Logistics for USAG Brussels.

 

As deputy to the garrison commander he exercises executive leadership, provides policy and program oversight for a range of installation programs and represents the commander in her absence.

 

He manages day-to-day base operations for the installation and provides administrative program direction to directors and special staff.

Mr. Crepeau retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service. During his Army career, he held leadership and logistics-management positions with the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Nurnberg, Germany, 17th Area Support Group, Camp Zama, Japan, 306th Forward Support Battalion, Fort Richardson, Alaska and 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Irwin, California. He also served as a First Sergeant with the 10th Area Support Group, Okinawa, Japan and the 159th Aviation Regiment, Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

 

Mr. Crepeau earned numerous awards and decorations during his military and civilian career, including the Meritorious Service Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Army Commendation Medal with three oak leaf clusters, Joint Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal with nine oak leaf clusters, National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal. His civilian awards include the Achievement Medal for Civilian Service.
